The Commons¶

In short. Habitat, the published receipts and Desk are the work of The Commons Cooperative Company, a Colorado cooperative public benefit corporation. The work is given, and corrections are kept in public.

What is given¶

The five receipts, their kits, and the commands that reproduce them.
Record in Desk, for anyone with a session log, behind the Desk password until it is fully vetted.
The anchor verifier and the public keys, so nothing has to be taken on trust.

What is kept¶

The record. Signed receipts, anchors, keys and the digests files stay on habitat.ooo at the addresses their public anchors name. Those addresses don't change. The kits are anchored by name and sent by link on request.

The correction record¶

A published claim that turns out wrong is not removed. It stays, with the date and the reason. Among them:

2026-07-15. The method page had said two receipts were graded against a shuffle test. Measured: they were not. The page says so in place, and those two receipts' summary ratings are withheld until it is resolved.
2026-10-19. A third Receipt Desk check, Boundary, was withdrawn. As written, it could not find anything in a Claude Code log. Old receipts that carried it still list it, marked as withdrawn.
2026-10-20. The keep-out and take-out kits were reissued as a second edition, graded against the record's own floor. The first editions stay beside them, still anchored.
