Habitat¶
A developmental workspace. Your practice has shape — and it's yours.
You read, see, write, and share. A geometry develops from your practice — not a summary, not a profile, not a model of you. The actual shape of what you did.
The system observes. It doesn't optimize. If every LLM disappeared tomorrow, every field still develops. The sovereignty is architecture, not policy.
What you get¶
Your practice has shape. Every composition enters the field. The geometry that develops is observable — where your knowledge is dense, where it's forming, where it just broke through.
It stays yours. Sovereign storage. Apache Arrow/Parquet. Portable, deletable, never leaves your control. No platform owns your geometry.
Fields develop together. A classroom, a newsroom, a studio — shared practice develops its own geometry. Yours stays yours inside it.
How it works¶
Habitat accepts natural language, decomposes it into two independently computed representations — a 17-dimensional compositional space derived from linguistic theory and a 768-dimensional embedding space from SentenceTransformer — and observes what happens in the gap between them.
That gap is not an error. It is not a loss to minimize. It is the primary signal.
We call it surplus.
